Kit Graham has embraced the adaptability under Robert Vilahamn in the opening six months of his reign.
The 28-year-old – who joined us in August, 2019, ahead of our first-ever season in the WSL – has flourished in a new role as a deep-lying midfielder under the Swedish coach, playing a pivotal part in the historic north London derby victory over Arsenal back in December, 2023.
Although she is relishing the new challenge in her career, Kit has admitted it’s all still a learning curve and taken the opportunity to learn from her fellow teammates, while reflecting on a memorable day at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium against Arsenal.
Speaking in an interview in the matchday programme for the visit of Manchester City in the FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup, Kit said: “I’m a player that really likes to be on the ball and that role actually offers me the chance to get on the ball more and look to create opportunities. I’m really enjoying it at the minute.
“It was a long week playing them twice in a few days, but the team dug deep. It wasn’t the prettiest of games, but we got the job done and what an atmosphere at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - it was just unbelievable.”
Tonight's matchday programme against Manchester City will be on sale at the game and this season’s Spurs Women’s issues are also available to buy online...
