Richarlison has been shortlisted for the Premier League Player of the Month award after a fine run of performances in the top flight.
A summer, 2022, arrival from Everton, 'Richy' has found a purple patch of form over the last two months as he has enjoyed a scoring run of nine goals in his last eight games.
And that included goals in each of our two league outings in January as he found the target against both Manchester United and Brentford.
Flicking a header home at Old Trafford on 14 January to draw us level in the first half, he then guided home the match-winner in our 3-2 triumph over Brentford nine days ago (Wednesday 31 January).
Richalrlison has since scored his 10th Premier League goal of the season - the first time he has reached double figures for us in the competition.
Our number nine is our fourth player to be nominated for the award with James Maddison (August), Heung-Min Son (September) and Cristian Romero (November) also shortlisted for the prize this term.
It is the first time Richy has been in the running for the award since his arrival from Everton and he could become the first Brazilian to win the award since Lucas Moura in August, 2018 - only four Brazilians have claimed the prize in the history of the Premier League.
He will face competition for the honour though with Luton Town’s Elijah Adebayo, Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne, Arsenal’s Gabriel Magalhães and Liverpool’s Conor Bradley and Diogo Jota also up for the award.
As usual though, you can show your support to Richarlison by voting for him via the link below. That vote is now open and will close on Monday 12 February at 12noon.
