Two-goal Dom your Player of the Match after victory over United

Dominic Solanke has been named your HSBC Player of the Match after he bagged a brace in Thursday night's thrilling Carabao Cup quarter-final win over Manchester United.

Bagging his eighth and ninth goals since his summer move to N17, Dom hit a double for the second time to earn him your votes as he came top of our Player of the Match poll on our Official App for the third time this campaign.

One of our star performers this season, our number 19 got his just rewards for his incredible selfless running, pressing and harrying off the ball with two more goals for his collection.

Scoring the opener and then our third in the victory, Dom showed two key parts of his trade - the firstly, his ability to react quickest and finish from an angle while his second showed his composure and boldness to bide his time, make room for himself before firing home.

Those goals were his fourth and fifth in his last four games against Manchester United while he has now been involved in 13 goals in just 22 games so far for us.

Notably, despite being a centre forward, Dom also enjoyed a 100 per cent success rate with his tackles, attempting four and coming out on top in all four.
