Ange Postecoglou had a positive update on the fitness of Destiny Udogie as we prepare to face Liverpool in the Premier League at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday (4.30pm UK).

The flying full-back missed our thrilling Carabao Cup quarter-final win against Manchester United on Thursday evening after being forced off in the first half of our 5-0 win at Southampton on Sunday due to tightness in his quad muscle.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference at Hotspur Way on Friday morning, Ange was asked for an update on Destiny and Timo Werner, who also missed the win against United, this time through illness. He said: "Timo was unwell yesterday, so we've got 48 hours before the game, hopefully he'll recover, and the plan is that Destiny should be okay."

Guglielmo Vicario, Ben Davies, Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven, Mikey Moore, Wilson Odobert and Richarlison remain sidelined, with Rodrigo Bentancur still suspended.
