Ange Postecoglou says there's a chance of Cristian Romero returning to training with the squad 'potentially by Friday'.
Our vice-captain and centre-back has featured in just one of five matches in all competitions since picking up a foot injury against Aston Villa on 3 November, missing the last three.
Speaking at his press conference on Wednesday morning, ahead of Thursday night's Premier League clash at Bournemouth (8.15pm), Ange gave this update on Cuti.
"He's due to have his last couple of sessions with the rehab guys today and tomorrow, so we're hoping back in terms of training potentially by Friday, at the very latest early next week if everything goes well."
Ange also gave an update on Dominic Solanke - link below - who was a late withdrawal from Sunday's draw against Fulham due to illness and indicated that everyone came through that unscathed, including Archie Gray, who picked up a knock, but there would be no returnees, with Micky van de Ven, Wilson Odobert, Richarlison, Mikey Moore and Guglielmo Vicario all out and Rodrigo Bentancur suspended.
