Team news | Ange’s updates on Solanke, Romero and Gray

Ange Postecoglou is hopeful Dominic Solanke, Archie Gray and Cristian Romero will all be available for Thursday evening’s trip to AFC Bournemouth in the Premier League.
Dominic was a late withdrawal from Sunday’s 1-1 draw against Fulham after being laid low by illness overnight. Archie came off the bench on 85 minutes but only lasted 10 minutes and limped off after taking a heavy knock, later revealed as a dead leg by Ange in his post-match press conference.
Speaking on our Review Show, Ange told us: “Dom trained yesterday, but the illness hit him overnight, so we’ll have to see how he recovers. He came to the ground and wanted to try (to make himself available), but we could tell as soon as we saw him that he wasn’t in a fit state to play, so we sent him home. I haven’t seen Archie, but he picked up a bit of a knock, we’ll have to wait and see.”
Ange was asked in his press conference if Dom would be available to face Bournemouth. “I hope so. He trained yesterday but he came in today and didn’t look well at all, so we sent him home. It’s obviously an illness not an injury, so we need to see how it settles down in the next couple of days but hopefully it’s nothing too significant.”
Asked the same about Cuti’s potential return this week, Ange responded: “Potentially. He still hasn't trained with the team, he's getting closer, but he still hasn't trained with the team, so, him and Micky are still working with sport science staff. So, hopefully, not too far away.”
