Jamie Donley produced a superb display for loan club Leyton Orient as they swept aside Barnsley in League One on Saturday.
The attacking midfielder bagged his first senior goal to give the O’s the upper hand just six minutes in at Oakwell and went on to provide two assists as his side romped to a 4-0 win.
Jamie met Ollie O’Neill’s deep corner with a header at the far post to open his account before himself delivering a corner from which Omar Beckles made it two.
He then sent a ball over the top for Charlie Kelman to extend Orient’s lead before being substituted nine minutes from time after a fine afternoon’s work. Sonny Perkins subsequently completed the scoring.
In total, three of our loanees were involved at Oakwell as goalkeeper Josh Keeley kept a clean sheet for Orient while midfielder Matthew Craig started for the hosts, but was withdrawn towards the end of the first half.
