Information for fans travelling to Forest on Boxing Day

Supporters making the trip to the City Ground for our Premier League fixture against Nottingham Forest on Boxing Day should be aware of the following information, and should note that no direct train services will operate between London and Nottingham on matchday...

Supporters are asked to take particular note of the information regarding the unauthorised use of tickets which can be found below.

Getting to The City Ground

Supporters are advised to plan their travel in advance and allow plenty of time to reach the City Ground.

Please note that no direct train services will operate between London and Nottingham on Boxing Day. A limited number of coach spaces remain available for supporters to book, with subsidised tickets - courtesy of Castrol - priced at £10.

Supporters travelling by car are advised that parking at the City Ground is considerably limited. Approved parking will be available on a first-come, first-served basis in the following approved Nottingham Forest car parks:

  • Meadow Lane (Notts County FC)
  • Cattlemarket Pay & Display
  • Lady Bay Sports Ground (NG2 5AA)
  • County Hall (Notts County Council Building)

Entering the stadium

The visitors’ section is located in the Bridgford Stand, and details of your block and turnstile will be displayed on your ticket.

Turnstiles usually open 90 minutes prior to kick-off and the majority will close 10 minutes after kick-off.

There will be security present before visiting supporters enter the turnstiles. This can include the presence of sniffer dogs and police on hand to supporter stewarding teams.

Tottenham Hotspur travel stewards and staff will also be on hand to assist.

Disabled seating is located in Blocks W2, X1 and X2. When arriving at the visitors’ section, wheelchair-using supporters are asked to approach a steward who will escort them into the stadium.

Accessible toilet facilities are located within the home end, a short distance from the away section. Supporters wishing to use these facilities should speak to a steward who will be happy to escort you.

Tottenham Hotspur Access Stewards will be available should any support be required.

The Nest - Meadow Lane, Ironmonger Rd, Nottingham NG2 3HU

Located in Notts County FC’s Meadow Lane Stadium, Meadow Lane Sports Bar is less than a 10-minute walk away from the City Ground and in close proximity to the away turnstiles.

Cashless payments

The City Ground is a cashless stadium. All major debit and credit cards are accepted as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Matchday programme

A matchday programme can be purchased from a number of outlets around the stadium.

Bag Policy

Supporters can bring small bags into the ground, provided they are smaller than A4 (21cm x 29.7cm).

No large bags or suitcases will be permitted into the stadium.

Flags and banners

Banners will only be permitted into the stadium with express prior notice and permission from Nottingham Forest’s Stadium Operations team. Please call 0115 982 4444 for further assistance.

Supporters are reminded that the Club’s own Flags and Banners Policy is also in operation at away matches.

Prohibited items

Persons in possession of any of the items listed below will be refused entry into the ground:

Alcohol, canned drinks, drinking glasses, glass bottles, umbrellas of any size, air horns, plastic bottles (over 500ml), baby buggies, video recording equipment, large lens cameras, drones, pyrotechnics or explosives, darts/knives/weapons, musical instruments, large bags/suitcases/laptop bags/rucksacks, offensive banners/flags/clothing, laser pens, smoke or gas canisters, tools, drugs or illegal substances, food stuffs (discretion may be shown for children’s snacks), poles or sticks, and dangerous or hazardous items.

Spurs respects

We are proud of our superb and loyal support at home and away.

We recognise that most supporters want to watch a football match and not listen to abusive or indecent language from the stands. Discriminatory or violent behaviour, including racist, homophobic, sexist or anti-disability shouting, chanting or actions, is unacceptable.

The Club reserves the right to indefinitely ban supporters found guilty of using discriminatory language or violent behaviour.

Reporting anti-social behaviour

To report an incident at the City Ground, please notify the nearest steward or text the word ‘FOREST’ to 60066.

Ticket Office

The Visitors’ Ticket Office Collection point is located next to the away turnstiles and behind the Bridgford Stand. It will open 90 minutes before kick-off and remain open until half-time.

Duplicate tickets must be requested by emailing ticket.office@tottenhamhotspur.com and will only be provided on production of valid photo ID.

Unauthorised use of tickets

Supporters are reminded that the unauthorised reselling or passing on of tickets is strictly prohibited. In line with the Club's Sanctions & Banning Policy, supporters selling away match tickets above face value will receive an indefinite ban and deduction of all Ticketing Points. Supporters passing on away match tickets equal to face value or less will receive a written warning and a 50 per cent reduction of Ticketing Points.

Supporters unable to attend

Supporters unable to attend the match should contact the Ticket Office as soon as possible. The Club will make best endeavours to reallocate tickets to other eligible supporters and issue refunds upon receipt of original tickets.
