As the Club for dog lovers, we are featuring a ‘Dog of the Match’ at every home game throughout the season.
Members of Tottenham Hotspaw - our first-ever Official Supporters’ Club for dog lovers - have been posting pictures of their beloved pets on the group’s Facebook page for a chance for them to be featured on the stadium big screens ahead of kick-off and in the matchday programme.
This weekend’s Dog of the Match is three-year-old cockapoo Ziggy. Ziggy had a traumatic start to life as he lived with an elderly man who passed away, leaving him alone in a flat for weeks. Rescued by All Dogs Matter - the Club’s charity partner - Ziggy found renewed spirit and confidence, and his affectionate nature and charm have made him an indispensable part of his Dad Clive’s life.
Alongside our ‘Dog of the Match’, we also profile rescue dogs currently up for adoption with All Dogs Matter, giving fans the chance to provide a forever home so badly needed.
Today, we are featuring Cookie - a gorgeous medium sized Crossbreed who came to the charity after sadly being abandoned. Cookie is a lovely affectionate girl, who has charmed everyone at the kennels! She’s doing well in her foster home and loves a snooze on the sofa. She is fine with other dogs when out and about but would prefer to be the only dog in the home. Cookie is looking for a home with direct access to a garden, and an owner who is around for most of the day.
