Ange Postecoglou reported that Radu Dragusin picked up an ankle injury that forced him off late in our 1-0 loss at Forest on Boxing Day.
The central defender - a starter in 13 of our last 14 matches - waved over to the bench in the latter stages of the Premier League clash at the City Ground. He limped off with 87 minutes on the clock, replaced by Yves Bissouma as an emergency centre-back alongside Archie Gray as it ended 1-0 to the home side.
Speaking on our Review Show, Ange was asked if he had any news on Radu, not least with Cuti Romero, Micky van de Ven and Ben Davies still sidelined. “Not yet,” he said. “It was a knock on his ankle, he said he couldn’t continue, we’ll have to assess him and see how we are.”
Asked about Radu in his press conference, Ange said: “He was a bit sore. He hurt his ankle and said he couldn’t continue, so we'll just have to wait and see.”
