What is the team news?

Cristian Romero hasn’t yet returned to full training with the squad so is unlikely to return against Bournemouth, while Dominic Solanke will be assessed after missing the weekend’s draw with Fulham due to illness.

Ange Postecoglou reported on Wednesday that Archie Gray has recovered well after picking up a knock against the Cottagers, but Micky van de Ven, Wilson Odobert, Richarlison, Mikey Moore and Guglielmo Vicario all remain out, while Rodrigo Bentancur is suspended.

Forward Antoine Semenyo is available again for the home side after suspension, but midfielder Lewis Cook will be assessed while Julian Araujo, Alex Scott and Luis Sinisterra all remain sidelined.

Who is the referee?

Thursday night’s game will be officiated by Simon Hooper, with Adrian Holmes and Simon Long as his assistants.

The fourth official will be Tim Robinson while VAR duties will be handled by John Brooks along with assistant Dan Robathan.
