A busy triple header for our Under-21s comes to an end tonight, as they host AS Monaco in the Premier League International Cup - live on SPURSPLAY.
After a long pause during the recent international break, Wayne Burnett's young side returned to action in style on Friday lunchtime as we dispatched Middlesbrough 6-1 in Premier League 2 at Hotspur Way.
That was followed by a tough 3-0 defeat at Sutton United on Tuesday night, although the scoreline didn't reflect the tight nature of the game.
We come into this one bottom of Group A, having lost to Valencia in our only fixture to date, whilst the other teams in the group have all played two or three games so far.
Tickets
With this game being hosted at the Lamex Stadium, all the tickets are being sold via the Stevenage FC website, with pricing as follows:
Adults: £5
Under 18: £2
Coverage
If you're unable to make the trip across the Hertfordshire, you can follow the action live on SPURSPLAY and we'll keep you up to date via the Spurs App & socials, with a full match report to follow after the final whistle.
The Opposition
Under the stewardship of former Liverpool man Djimi Traore, Monaco's Under-21 side (known as the Monaco Groupe Elite) have had a remarkable start to the season.
They kicked off their campaign with a thrilling 4-3 victory over Barcelona in the UEFA Youth League, before a 1-1 draw with Wolves in their opening fixture in this competition at the end of September.
Just one defeat from their next seven games has followed, that being a 1-0 defeat to Dinamo Zagreb in the UEFA Youth League, before bouncing back with a 1-0 win over Stade Rennais in France's new Under-21 league - the Challenge Espoirs.
A 1-1 draw with Red Star Belgrade followed before their strongest result of the season, dispatching Reading 4-1 at the SCL Stadium at the end of October.
November saw Traore's side go unbeaten, as a 0-0 draw with Bologna was followed by a 1-1 draw against SM Caen, which turned into victory on penalties, whilst last time out they beat Benfica 1-0 at the CMB Training Centre.
That run leaves them top of their league competition, the Challenge Espoirs Poule B, with six points from their opening two fixtures, whilst they're third in our Premier League International Cup group, just two points behind leaders Valencia and Nottingham Forest - with only the top two progressing to the knockouts in that competition.
In the UEFA Nations League they're 17th out of the 36 sides, although just two points separate them and sixth-placed Stuttgart.
One to watch
With four goals in all competitions so far this season, Joan Tincres is currently the Blanc et Rouge's top scorer this campaign.
Despite playing Under-21 football, Tincres is still only 18 and has also been appearing in Monaco's Under-19 side, alongside teammate Lorenz Carvalho who is the top scorer for the club at that level.
Tincres bagged last time out in this competition against Reading, adding to his three goals and one assist so far in the UEFA Youth League this season.
The youngster also made the bench for the senior side's most recent UEFA Champions League match against Benfica, although he didn't feature as they lost 3-2.
