Young duo join Watford on dual registration

We have agreed for youngsters Elkie Bowyer and Maia Lazarro to play for FA Women’s National League Southern Premier Division side Watford for the 2024/25 campaign under dual-registration.

Midfielder Elkie has been part of our Professional Game Academy set-up for the last three years, who spent the second half of last term at Ipswich Town under dual-registration, while forward Maia is a second-year in our Under-21s squad.

Under the terms of the dual-registration, they will continue to train with us on certain days of the week alongside their training and matchday commitments with Watford.

As announced earlier this week, we will be providing more coverage on our Under-21s this season, who are set to kick-off their Professional Game Academy League campaign on Wednesday (28 August) against Arsenal. View the full fixture list by clicking below.
