What is the team news?

Wilson Odobert, signed last week from Burnley, is available and could make his debut for the Club this weekend.

Fellow new arrival Dominic Solanke is sidelined, though, after picking up an ankle injury in Monday’s curtain-raiser at Leicester City.

Rodrigo Bentancur will also miss out as he follows the concussion protocol after being carried off in the match at the King Power Stadium. Pedro Porro also departed early on Monday, but he’s fit and available for selection, while Yves Bissouma is back in the frame.

Everton defender James Tarkowski is a doubt over a hamstring issue while James Garner, Seamus Coleman, Youssef Chermiti, Nathan Patterson and Jarrad Branthwaite are all sidelined for the visitors. Ashley Young is suspended after his red card in last week’s defeat to Brighton.

Who is the referee?

Anthony Taylor will referee our match on Saturday, assisted by Gary Beswick and Adam Nunn, with Tom Nield as the fourth official.

Andy Madley and assistant Harry Lennard are on VAR duties.

What colours will the teams be playing in?

We’ll be wearing our new 2024/25 home kit, featuring Lilywhite shirts with navy blue sleeves, navy blue shorts and white socks.

Our goalkeeper will wear yellow.

As for Everton, they’ll arrive in their dark green away kit, featuring yellow trim.

Their keeper will be in bright green.

After a dry and bright few days, it’s due to rain in north London on Saturday. Temperatures should be around 16 degrees.
