Saturday’s pre-season clash with FC Bayern at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium sees a return to N17 of Harry Kane and Eric Dier for the first time since their departures from the Club.
We have not previously had the opportunity to bid farewell to two players who have made such a significant contribution to our Club in recent years.
Ahead of the game, in recognition of their years of service to Tottenham Hotspur, the pair will be presented with commemorative gifts on behalf of the Club by our Ambassador, Ledley King.
The presentation is expected to take place approximately 15 minutes before the 17:30 kick-off, following the completion of the team warm-ups. We advise fans in attendance to be in their seats early.
Harry graduated through our Academy system to become the Club's all-time record goalscorer, overtaking Jimmy Greaves' 266 goals in February, 2023. He departed in August last year having scored a total of 280 goals in 435 Spurs appearances in all competitions.
Eric was another important figure, both on and off the pitch, in over nine years at the Club. His 365 games in all competitions moved him into our all-time top 25 appearance makers and he’s one of only eight players to play over 50 times for us in Europe.
We look forward to welcoming both players, and their families, back to the Club on Saturday.
