Oliver Skipp has penned a message to Spurs supporters following his departure from the Club.
A boyhood fan who went on to live the dream of every Spurs supporter, Skippy spent an incredible 18 years with us before making the move to Leicester City on Monday.
Joining us at the age of five before going onto rise through the ranks and eventually into our first team, the midfielder made over 100 appearances for us, scoring one goal - an extra special thunderbolt against Chelsea at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in February, 2023.
Now waving an emotional goodbye, Skippy left a message for Spurs fans on his official instagram channel, expressing his thanks to all associated with the Club for their love and support over the years.
Skippy's parting message
"After an incredible 18 years at my boyhood Club, it’s time to say goodbye," Skippy said.
"It’s been an amazing journey that started as a 5 year old in 2006 to today in 2024. So many special memories that I will never forget. To have played over 100 times for the Club is such an honour and a privilege.
"Lastly, a big thank you to all the fans, players, staff and Chairman for all that you’ve done for me.
"I’ll be back as a fan one day! COYS 🤍"
