Romero your Player of the Match after Everton win

Cristian Romero has been named your Player of the Match after his barnstorming performance in our 4-0 Premier League win over Everton on Sunday.

Winning his first award of the season, Cristian came top of our poll on the Spurs Official App.

Leading from the back, the defender was outstanding alongside Micky van de Ven at the heart of our backline.

Full of passion and a fierce desire to get us our first victory of the campaign, the centre half led in a number of statistics, including shots attempted. He had more possession of the ball than any player on the pitch (10.9 per cent), the most touches (119), made the most passes (90), won the most aerial duels (3) and made the most successful tackles (6).

Having done all of that, he also got on the scoresheet, heading home in the 71st minute for his seventh Premier League goal.
