Sat 31 August 2024, 23:16|Tottenham Hotspur

Our third game of the season takes us to the north east and a trip to St James’ Park to face Newcastle United on Sunday afternoon.

Here’s all the key info you need...

What time is kick-off against Newcastle?

The match starts at 1.30pm UK time.

How can I watch the game?

Sunday’s match will be televised live in the UK on Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main Event.

You can also follow all the action via the all-new feed on the Spurs Official app, while our Match Centre here on tottenhamhotspur.com and the app also brings you all the action as it happens with live text and audio commentary, stats, live photos and more.

You’ll be able to watch highlights on SPURSPLAY from two hours after the game and a full match replay on the same platform from midnight.

What is the team news?

Rodrigo Bentancur is back in the frame for us after missing last weekend’s win over Everton following his enforced exit from the season opener at Leicester just under a fortnight ago.

However, Richarlison has picked up another injury and won’t be available, with fellow forward Dominic Solanke also still sidelined.

Joe Willock is expected to miss out for Newcastle after limping out of their Carabao Cup fixture against Nottingham Forest in midweek.

Callum Wilson is also out, but Sandro Tonali returned from a 10-month ban in midweek and looks set to make his top-flight return on Sunday.

Who is the referee?

Robert Jones is Sunday’s referee, assisted by Ian Hussin and Nick Greenhalgh.

Darren Bond will be the fourth official, with Stuart Attwell and assistant Natalie Aspinall on VAR duties.

What colours will the teams be playing in?

Newcastle will wear their familiar black and white striped shirts with black shorts and black and white socks on Sunday.

That means we’ll be in our away kit for the first time this season, featuring light blue shirts with two-tone stripes along with light blue shorts and socks.

Newcastle’s goalkeeper will play in dark green, with ours in yellow.

What will the weather conditions be like?

It’s expected to stay dry for the game on Sunday although there’ll be light cloud and a gentle breeze, with temperatures at around 17 degrees.

What is the travel information if I’m going to the game?

Travel information for those making the trip to St James’ Park can be found here.
