Gray called up for England Under-21 duty

Archie Gray has been named in the latest England Under-21 squad.

Already capped twice for the Young Lions, scoring on his debut against Azerbaijan in March, 2024, out young midfielder has retained his place in the squad as England continue their qualification campaign for the 2025 Under-21 European Championships.

This September, England face another qualifier. Sitting second in Group F, level on points with leaders Ukraine but below them based on their head-to-head record, the Young Lions face a trip to Northern Ireland on Friday 6 September (7.45pm kick-off UK). Just two more games will then remain for England in the qualification campaign.

They will then face a friendly with Austria on Monday 9 September at Kenilworth Road, Luton (7.45pm UK).
