Under-21s set for Premier League International Cup action

We are pleased to confirm that our Under-21s will participate in the Premier League International Cup this season.

As we return to the competition for the first time since 2018/19, we have been drawn in Group A and will face Valencia CF, AS Monaco, Ajax and Dinamo Zagreb in the initial phase of the tournament.

Participating teams have been divided into four groups of eight – each with four UK-based Under-21 teams and four invited overseas clubs, represented by their development sides. Each UK team will face all four overseas clubs in their group at home. Results will contribute to a league table in each group – the top two sides from each of the four groups will then advance to the knockout stages.

Nottingham Forest, Reading and Wolverhampton Wanderers are the other UK-based teams in our group.

As with the majority of our home games in the Premier League 2, our fixtures in this competition will be hosted at Stevenage’s Lamex Stadium – tickets for these matches are available online in advance of each game via Stevenage’s ticketing website, or at the ground on the night.
