Martha Thomas, Molly Bartrip and Barbora Votíková are back in contention for Sunday’s Adobe Women’s FA Cup tie against Leicester City at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (12pm UK).
Martha has missed our last two games in the Barclays Women’s Super League after suffering a hamstring injury but the Scotland international returned to training over the international break and could be back available for selection.
Molly could also make her return to the squad this weekend after recovering from an illness, having not played since our trip to Arsenal at the beginning of March, 2023, while ‘Bara’, who suffered a concussion in training last month and saw her ruled out for the Bristol City fixture, featured in Czech Republic’s two games over the international break.
Eleven players were on international duty over the last fortnight and returned to Hotspur Way on Friday (12 April) morning with Robert Vilahamn confirming that everyone came back fit and healthy.
When asked about the latest team news in his pre-match press conference on Friday afternoon, the boss said: “It looks very good. Everyone has been training and we have our last session tomorrow and, right now, everybody in the squad is healthy and able to be in the squad.”
