Luana Bühler netted her second goal in two games for Switzerland as she led her nation to back-to-back wins in the Euro 2025 qualifying campaign with a 4-0 win over Azerbajian on Tuesday.
Earning her 50th cap for her country and captaining the side, the defender doubled Switzerland’s lead following Smilla Vallotto’s opener, rising highest to Vallotto’s corner to guide her header into the back of the net for her third international goal.
Alayah Pilgrim and Nadine Riesen were on the scoresheet in the second half to wrap up a comfortable afternoon for Switzerland.
The victory leaves Luana’s nation top of their qualifying group after the opening two games.
