He might have triggered pure delirium for 60,000 fans inside Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but it appears match winner Dejan Kulusevski was the calmest person in N17 as we staged a stunning late, late show to topple Sheffield United on Saturday.
Deki struck a beauty from 20 yards to secure a memorable victory after we’d dominated but found ourselves 1-0 down when Gustavo Hamer fired home for the visitors on 73 minutes.
Richarlison levelled in the eighth of 12 minutes of added time and the comeback was completed two minutes later as Destiny Udogie won possession and then a wonderful one-touch move from Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Ivan Perisic and Richy opened it up for Deki to light the touchpaper and incredible scenes inside the stadium – the latest winning goal in Premier League history.
Speaking to us on The Review Show on SPURSPLAY, Deki took us into the moment... “In the end, I just stayed calm, it’s a game of football... when Richy scored, I knew then we weren’t going to lose, I got the ball and just did my thing.
“I knew I had to do one good thing to score and that’s what happened. Honestly, the first second when you see the ball go in, it’s quiet for one second and then you feel alive. All the hard work is worth it for that one second.”

Ange Postecoglou spoke beforehand about the importance of staying disciplined and sticking to our football. “We had to stay calm,” said Deki. “You see our coach, Ange, he’s on the sidelines always being calm. So, we have to do that as players, stay calm, trust in each other and play like a family.”
Deki, who has racked up two goals already in our five league matches this term, also gave praise to the fans, adding: “We’re very happy because the fans helped us through the game. They didn’t get frustrated, they stayed by our side, they wanted us to win, and, in the end, they helped us to win.
“We know we can improve a lot. First half, I thought we wanted to score too much, we thought we’d score a lot of goals, but we had to stay calm and wait for the game to come to us.”
