September international fixtures for our players
Wed 06 September 2023, 15:00|Tottenham Hotspur
The first international break of the season is upon us, with a number of our players – including many of our summer signings – set for action with their respective nations.
Defender Micky van de Ven has earned his first senior call-up to the senior Netherlands national team having appeared regularly for and also sometimes captained their Under-21s in recent years, while Brennan Johnson joins Ben Davies and on-loan Joe Rodon in the Wales squad for their matches, which include a friendly against Heung-Min Son’s South Korea in Cardiff.
James Maddison (England), Manor Solomon (Israel) and Guglielmo Vicario (Italy) are also among those on senior international duty over the next two weeks, with fellow new arrival Ashley Phillips joining Academy players Jamie Donley, Alfie Dorrington and Luca Gunter in the England Under-19s squad.
In other headline news, on-loan striker Dane Scarlett has been named in the England Under-21s squad for the first time, having been a regular in the lower age groups in recent years. Fellow loanee Alfie Devine is also on duty with England at Under-20 level, taking part in a training camp at St George's Park.
