James Maddison has won the Premier League's Player of the Month award for August.
A summer signing from Leicester City, James has enjoyed a superb start to life in north London and he has now capped that off by claiming his first ever Player of the Month award in England's top flight.
Having previously been nominated for the prize on four occasions during his five-year spell with the Foxes, Madders has now gone one better by winning the inaugural award of the the 2023/24 season thanks to an incredible first month in Lilywhite.
Producing both assists for our two strikes in our opening weekend draw with Brentford, he then scored his first goal as we travelled to Bournemouth two weeks later, stroking home after neat intricate play in our 2-0 win at the Vitality Stadium.
He then continued that goalscoring form into September as he bagged away at Burnley in our 5-2 triumph.
