Alfie Devine has been called up for the latest England Under-20s squad.
Having recently joined League One side Port Vale on a season-long loan, Alfie has been selected by Joe Edwards in his first squad as Interim Head Coach.
The 19-year-old midfielder has been a regular for the Young Lions in recent seasons, winning the European Under-19 Championship in 2022 and was a standout performer at the FIFA Under-20 World Cup in Argentina during the summer with two goals in England’s four games.
Alfie will link-up with the squad for a five-day training camp at St George’s Park in preparation for a new Euro U20 Elite League in October, with England beginning the competition against Romania on 12 October before hosting Portugal with the date and venue still to be confirmed.
Preparation continues for our #YoungLions! 🙌
