Ben Davies, Heung-Min Son, Joe Rodon and new signing Brennan Johnson were all action last night (Thursday 7 September) as Wales took on South Korea in an international friendly in Cardiff.
All picked to start at the Cardiff City Stadium in the first ever meeting between the nations, our boys played out a 0-0 draw in the Welsh capital with clear-cut chances coming at a premium in the game.
Both Sonny and Joe had chances to open the scoring in the game, our number seven drawing a save from range just after the break before our centre-half, who is spending this campaign on loan at Leeds, saw a header claimed by Kim Seung-gyu in the South Korea net.
Ben, who captained his side and was named Player of the Match for his commanding performance, Sonny and Joe all played the full 90 minutes while Brennan was substituted at full time, perhaps with Monday's important Euro 2024 qualifier against Latvia in mind.
