Udogie earns maiden call-up to join Vicario in Italy squad

Destiny Udogie has received his first ever call up for the Italy national team, joining Guglielmo Vicario in the latest squad.

Destiny, who has enjoyed a promising start to his Spurs career, has been selected by new Italy manager Luciano Spalletti alongside Guglielmo for the Azzurri's upcoming Euro 2024 qualifiers.

This month, Italy face two qualifiers. They first host Malta on Saturday 14 October before they then head to England three days later to take on the Three Lions at Wembley (both 7.45pm kick-offs UK).

Italy currently sit second in qualifying Group C, six points behind leaders England but with a game in hand.
