Team news from Palace | Eze, Olise still sidelined

Thu 26 October 2023, 15:30|Tottenham Hotspur

Roy Hodgson has confirmed that Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise will still be missing as we face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Friday night (8pm).

England international Eze has been out with a hamstring injury since 30 September and it's the same issue for Olise, the France playmaker who has yet to feature this season.

Goalkeeper Dean Henderson (groin) and James Tomkins (calf) are also set to miss out.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference, Palace boss Hodgson said: "We still have Henderson, the goalkeeper, and we still have Ebere Eze and Michael Olise, so still quite big names are out. Add to that James Tomkins, who picked up a calf strain.

“It’s not a massive strain that would keep him out for a long period, as has happened to all three of Eze, Olise and Henderson which were all very serious ones.

“Otherwise we have everybody back now and ready to play, so certainly the situation with regards to selecting the 11 and selecting the bench is quite a different proposition than it was a few weeks ago.”
