Sonny hits Tottenham Hotspur Stadium half century
Tue 24 October 2023, 12:00|Tottenham Hotspur
Heung-Min Son scored his 50th goal at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in our 2-0 win over Fulham on Monday night.
Staring as our central striker in the clash as we looked to move back to the top of the Premier League table, Sonny produced a sublime curling finish with 36 minutes played to break the deadlock in N17.
And that was a milestone goal as it saw him reach a half century of goals at our north London home since we moved in back in April, 2019.
Having scored our first-ever goal at the Stadium that same month as he opened the scoring in a 2-0 win over Crystal Palace, he then scored our first ever European goal there thew following week, firing in the only goal of the game as we defeated Manchester City 1-0 in the first leg of our Champions League quarter-final tie - we went on to reach the final for the first time later that season.

Many of Sonny's milestone goals have also come at our N17 home, including his 100th goal for the Club - a strike against Leeds United in a 3-0 win in February, 2021 - as well as his 100th Premier League goal - again a stunning curler as we defeated Brighton 2-1 in north London back in April.
This season, our South Korean forward has already reached the landmark tally of 150 goals in Lilywhite, as he struck his 150th goal for the Club in our 2-2 draw at Arsenal last month.
