Naz scores in England Under-23s’ victory over Portugal

Jessica Naz stepped off the bench to score England Under-23s’ first goal in an eventual 2-0 win over Portugal at Manchester City’s Joie Stadium on Monday evening.

The attacker came on in first-half stoppage time for the injured Katie Robinson and wasted no time in making an impact, scoring with her first involvement of the game two minutes after the break when she latched onto a through ball and slotted into the bottom corner.

Kiera Skeels subsequently made it 2-0 as England claimed victory in the friendly clash.

A number of our players are set for UEFA Women’s Nations League action this evening (Tuesday 31 October) before attentions turn back to the Women’s Super League and a home clash with Everton on Sunday.
