Mikey Moore scores spectacular goal for England Under-17s

Mikey Moore continued his fine form for Club and country with a long-range lob in England Under-17s’ 2-2 draw with Norway at St George’s Park on Friday.

The attacking midfielder entered the fray just after the hour mark and took just nine minutes to hit the target, expertly lobbing the Norway goalkeeper from distance to put the Young Lions 2-1 in front.

Mikey’s Club team-mate and close pal Callum Olusesi also came off the bench, being introduced in the 71st minute, just after Mikey’s goal.

Norway, who had earlier fought back from a goal down, levelled again in stoppage time to ensure the game finished all square.

Mikey scored a hat-trick for our Under-18s in last weekend’s 7-2 win over Norwich City, before bagging a goal and an assist in England Under-17s’ 3-0 win over Norway on Wednesday.
