Yves Bissouma says the team is living every moment as we approach the key winter and festive period of the Premier League.

Sitting fourth after our best start to a Premier League campaign after 10 matches, now with eight wins in our first 12 in Ange Postecoglou's first season in charge, we're gearing up for eight matches before we welcome in 2024, kicking off with Villa at home on Sunday (2pm) following the final international break of the year.

Yves has been one of the stand-out performers in that start and currently sits in the Premier League's top 10 stats for tackles (36, Pedro Porro is second on 39), interceptions (18) and touches (979).

I think that if we do everything we need to do we have a good chance of fulfilling our ambitions and our goals

Speaking in a special in-depth interview for the Premier League, Mali midfielder told highly-respected UK-based French journalist Julien Laurens (ESPN, BT Sport, RMC Sport, Totally Football Show, 5Live) that the team isn't feeling pressure, just looking to work as hard as they can every day.

"It's true, we take one match at a time," said Yves. "We don't try to put pressure on ourselves because as I told you, it's just football. I don't feel the pressure. We don't feel it in the team.

"We try to live every moment to its fullest. That means in training, we give as much possible. During the matches, we try to give everything. We know it's the Premier League, it won't be easy. There will be tough matches but we're focused on ourselves and I think that if we do everything we need to do we have a good chance of fulfilling our ambitions and our goals."
