Tottenham HotspurDrew Spence remains out, while Olga Ahtinen has joined the list of injury absentees for Sunday’s trip to Leicester City in the Women’s Super League.
Experienced campaigner Drew missed last Sunday’s draw with Liverpool with a hamstring issue and won’t feature again this weekend while, as previously reported, fellow midfielder Olga suffered a Medial Collateral Ligament (MCL) injury at the end of the match against the Reds and is now sidelined until the early part of the New Year.
Captain Bethany England (hip) is also still out.
There’s good news elsewhere in the squad – Luana Bühler is okay after being withdrawn at half-time against Liverpool as a precaution, while Ria Percival is also back in contention after missing last week’s match with a minor issue.
“Drew is not back yet… Bethany England is following her plan, she’s taking steps but she’s not there yet,” said Head Coach Robert Vilahamn at his pre-match press conference, while also elaborating on Olga’s situation.
Kick-off at the King Power Stadium on Sunday is at 3pm UK time.
