Team news from Aston Villa | Martinez, McGinn expected to be fit, Ramsey back

Villa boss Unai Emery expects Emiliano Martinez and John McGinn to be fit to face us in Sunday's Premier League clash at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (2pm).

Argentina team-mate of Cuti Romero and Gio Lo Celso, goalkeeper Martinez returned from international duty with 'a little bit of pain', according to Emery, who also said that McGinn had rested for a day after returning from Scotland duty.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Friday, Emery said on McGinn: "Yesterday, he came back and he rested, but today he was training. Hopefully tomorrow there will be no change and he will be okay for Sunday."

On Martinez, Emery added: "He’s coming back with a little bit of pain but I think tomorrow he will be okay. I think he’s going to be ready for Sunday."

Leon Bailey and Nicolo Zaniolo are also expected to be fit while Jacob Ramsey could enter the picture after recovering from a broken metatarsal.
