Jamie Donley and Will Lankshear were on target again as England Under-19s won the Marbella Cup in style by beating Mexico 7-1 on Tuesday evening.
One of two Spurs players in the starting line-up alongside defender Ashley Phillips - who captained the side - Jamie bagged a first-half brace for his fifth goal of the tournament and there was also a hat-trick for Dominic Ballard as the Young Lions led 5-1 at the interval.
Ronnie Stutter of Chelsea added another six minutes after the restart before substitute Will made it three goals in as many games on a personal level to round off the victory in the third minute of stoppage time.
We had five players in the squad overall as centre-back Alfie Dorrington replaced captain Phillips at half-time and goalkeeper Luca Gunter was an unused substitute.
That result made it three wins from three in the friendly tournament following victories over Romania (6-0) and Japan (3-2) to complete a memorable trip for Simon Rusk's young side in Spain.
Elsewhere on Tuesday, goalkeeper Josh Keeley came seconds away from a famous win for Republic of Ireland Under-21s against Italy in their Euro Under-21 Championship qualifier in Cork, only for the Azzurri's Wilfried Gnonto to snatch a late equaliser six minutes into stoppage time to share the spoils at 2-2.
On-loan pair Alfie Devine and Dane Scarlett featured for England Elite League Squad as the ten-men of the Young Lions secured a last-gasp 3-2 away win against Germany. Alfie, on loan at Port Vale, was in from the start before being replaced on 61 minutes as Scarlett, on loan at Ipswich Town, came on at the same time and struck the inside of the post before Charlie Webster's eventual winner came seven minutes into added time.
