Heung-Min Son once again led from the front as South Korea made it two wins out of two in the second round of Asian qualifying for the 2026 World Cup on Tuesday.
Sonny, skipper of Club and country, scored twice and assisted the third goal as the Taegeuk Warriors beat rivals China 3-0 in Shenzhen. He opened the scoring from the spot after China's Zhu Chenjie was penalised in the box on 11 minutes before doubling the lead just before half-time. Sonny then claimed the assist as Jung Seung-hyun put the issue beyond doubt three minutes from time.
