Ange completes hat-trick of Premier League Manager of the Month awards

Fri 10 November 2023, 12:00|Tottenham Hotspur

Ange Postecoglou has done it again!

Having made history by becoming the first manager to win the Barclays Premier League Manager of the Month award in his first two months of the competition in August and September, he's now made it a treble after a 100 per cent winning record secured October's accolade.

He's one of only four managers in Premier League history to win three or more monthly awards on the trot alongside Pep Guardiola (the only manager to win four on the trot), Antonio Conte and Jurgen Klopp.

Victories in tough away games against Luton - where we won 1-0 after going down to 10 men in the first half - and Crystal Palace (2-1) came either side of a 2-0 win against Fulham at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as we topped the table.

The win at Palace took us to 26 points in our first 10 games - eight wins two draws - meaning Ange collected more points in his first 10 games in charge than any other manager in Premier League history. It's also our best start after 10 games in the Premier League era and in terms of the club's history, only toppled by Bill Nicholson's famous double winners, who won their first 11 on the trot in 1960/61.
