“They’ve caused every team problems” – Davies on Brentford

Ben Davies is fully aware of the challenge we face this weekend as Brentford make the trip to N17 on Saturday (kick-off 12.30pm).
We take on the Bees in our final home fixture of the 2022/23 Premier League season and know it will be vital to take all three points if we are to keep European qualification within our own hands.
With just two games remaining, we are neck and neck with 8th-placed Aston Villa with us both holding 57 points to our names, but we sit one place ahead of the Villans thanks to a healthier goal difference.
Not far behind us though are the ever-competitive Brentford who sit in ninth on 53 points. A well-drilled and all-action side who gave us quite the game on Boxing Day as we fought back to rescue a 2-2 draw at the Gtech Stadium, Ben is well aware of the threat the men in red and white pose and is expecting a similar test this weekend.
They are very strong from set-pieces, they play intelligent football, and they’ll make it difficult for us.
“I think they have caused every team they have played against problems this year,” the Welshman said on Brentford to SPURSPLAY. “They are very strong from set-pieces, they play intelligent football, and they’ll make it difficult for us.
“They have realised set-pieces can be a massive part of their game and are a massive opportunity for them to get goals and create chances anywhere near the box, so we have to be aware and prepared for a tough game.”

Premier League/Women's Super League double header
This weekend's clash with Brentford will form part of a UK first as, on Saturday, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will host both a Premier League and a Women's Super League fixture.
Beginning with our match against the Bees in the top flight of the men's game in England at 12.30pm, our Women will then take on Reading in the top tier of the Women's game from 4.15pm at our north London home - both matches representing the sides' final home games of the campaign.
Fans who are attending the earlier men's game are encouraged to stay to watch and support our women in their key clash with the Royals.
