Tottenham HotspurRyan Mason says Eric Dier will ‘come back stronger’ after undergoing surgery earlier this week.
The defender has featured in 42 of our 49 matches this season but has been troubled by a groin issue and having undergone surgery, will commence rehabilitation with our medical staff before joining up with the squad ahead of the start of pre-season.
Asked about Eric his pre-match press conference on Friday, Acting Head Coach Ryan said: “I’ve been a professional, I know what it’s like to get these injuries that linger, that are difficult. Ultimately, it’s an injury that needed to be sorted out and I’m sure he’ll come back stronger.”
