Pierre Emile-Hojbjerg could come back into the frame for our Premier League season finale at Leeds United on Sunday.
The midfielder - involved in 44 of our 49 matches so far in 2022/23 - missed last weekend’s home loss to Brentford but has returned to training this week.
Cristian Romero remains sidelined after picking up an injury at Villa on 13 May with Eric Dier now added to the longer-term injury list of Rodrigo Bentancur, Hugo Lloris and Ryan Sessegnon.
Speaking to SPURSPLAY after training on Friday, Acting Head Coach Ryan told us: “Cuti is out, Pierre has trained this week and we’ll see how he is tomorrow. It’s disappointing to have lost some key players in our squad, but that’s the reality. We trust the players and whatever team is on the pitch, we’ll have full confidence in them.”
