We face our final Premier League home game of the season on Saturday as we host Brentford (kick-off 12.30pm).

Here are the key points of note ahead of the fixture…

1 - European equation

With permutations aplenty in the battle for European qualification, we have to win both our remaining fixtures to stand a chance at clinching the final Europa League place. With fifth and sixth qualifying for Europe’s second-tier competition, we currently sit one point behind sixth-placed Brighton & Hove Albion in the Europa Conference League qualification spot in seventh. Close behind are Aston Villa and Brentford who will be looking to capitalise on any slip ups.

2 - Strong record against the Bees

When it comes to facing Brentford, we remain unbeaten against the Bees in 75 years  - a run which spans 14 matches in all competitions. Since that defeat - a 2-0 loss in the second division at White Hart Lane in March, 1948 - we have won nine and drawn five against the west London side.

3 - Last time out versus Brentford

Our last encounter with the Bees came on Boxing Day as we rescued a 2-2 draw having fallen 2-0 down, with second half goals from Harry Kane and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg at the Gtech Community Stadium.

Highlights - Brentford 2-2 Spurs

4 - Home comforts

At Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, we have lost just once in our last eight Premier League games (W6 D1). We also have a strong record in final home league games having fallen in this fixture just twice in the last 14 seasons, winning 11 and drawing one. In this fixture, previous results tend to favour the home side with only one away win out of the nine league games (D4 L4), with Brentford winless in their four visits to N17 (D1 L3).

5 - London derby records

Both sides have a strong record in London derbies this season. We have won our last four Premier League fixtures against fellow sides from the capital without conceding (1-0 vs Crystal Palace, 2-0 vs Chelsea, 2-0 vs West Ham United and 1-0 vs Fulham), with our last three coming at home. The Bees meanwhile are unbeaten in eight London derby matches and haven’t seen defeat in their last four away fixtures of this type.

6 - Kane in the capital

Harry Kane is one goal away from becoming only the second player to reach double figures in London derby matches in a single campaign, after Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink in 2001/02. Recently shortlisted for the EA SPORTS Premier League Player of the Season award, our number 10 is enjoying one of his best goalscoring campaigns to date with 27 goals and has equalled the league record of scoring in at least 24 different games in a top-flight season.

7 - No Toney

Brentford’s Ivan Toney was another striker in top form this season, having contributed 20 goals and four assists in red and white. However, the west London club will be without their talisman after he was banned for eight months with immediate effect for breaching the Football Association’s betting rules.

8 - The Bees can sting

As Thomas Frank adjusts to being without his key man up top, the Danish coach can rely on his well-oiled and talented squad who have shown they can disrupt the established elite in England's top flight. This season they have enjoyed victories over Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea, while they are the only side to have picked up a win away at league leaders Manchester City.

9 - "I will be Spurs forever..."

After five-and-a-half memorable years, we wave an emotional goodbye to Lucas Moura in what will be his final home game with the Brazilian leaving the Club at the end of the season. In a heartfelt message to our fans, he said: "I gave 100 per cent every time to show to you my passion, how I love Spurs, how I love to play football and it was amazing to play for you. Thank you. I will keep supporting you. I will be Spurs forever...”. Thank you for the memories, Lucas.

Look out for a special feature-length interview with Lucas in the matchday programme - available around the stadium or online here.
