NFL International Games announced for 2023

Wed 10 May 2023, 12:00|Tottenham Hotspur

The National Football League (NFL) has today announced the opponents, dates and locations for its five International Games to be played in 2023 - including two games at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on back-to-back weekends in October.

Games taking place in N17 are confirmed as follows:

  • Jacksonville Jaguars vs Buffalo Bills, Sunday 8 October, 2.30pm
  • Baltimore Ravens vs Tennessee Titans, Sunday 15 October, 2.30pm

Our first-of-its-kind partnership with the NFL has delivered a series of unforgettable games in front of sold-out crowds in Tottenham, with 12 of the league’s 32 teams having already experienced the stadium.

Memorable events have included live half-time shows from some of the biggest stars in music, pyrotechnics, military fly-overs and even the US national anthem performed on top of the stadium’s roof.

Many of the activations enjoyed by fans in and around the stadium on gamedays are delivered by local people as the NFL has embraced the community of Tottenham. It is an example of the wider community benefits delivered through the stadium development, that has created more than 4,000 jobs for local people to date.

Through staging major events such as NFL, boxing, rugby and concerts, as well as Premier League football and additional Visitor Attractions, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has become a new sports and entertainment destination for London, bringing a boost of circa £300m to the local economy every year while creating recurring sources of revenue to reinvest in our football activities.

Todd Kline, Chief Commercial Officer, Tottenham Hotspur, said: "Our NFL gamedays in London N17 are special occasions where we see fans from all over the world descend on our capital city, benefitting local businesses and the wider economy - this year will see that once again and we’re incredibly excited for the 2023 London Games to arrive in Tottenham."

Peter O’Reilly, NFL Executive Vice President, Club Business, Major Events & International, said: "In what promises to be a great spectacle of football for our global fans, we are thrilled to announce the five games to be played internationally in 2023, a record number of regular season games in Europe in a season. We are excited to bring three games to London once again, a city with a huge love for the sport and a passionate fan base across the UK."

Henry Hodgson, GM NFL UK, said: "We can’t wait to welcome teams to London for three brilliant weekends of football in October. We have staged games in London since 2007, with interest and momentum in the sport here in the UK rising year on year and look forward to giving fans the best NFL experience yet in 2023."
