Bethany England has been shortlisted for the Barclays Women’s Super League Player of the Month award for April.
After kick-starting the month with an assist for Eveliina Summanen in 2-1 defeat at Everton, Beth was then on the scoresheet to give us the lead in our 3-3 draw with Aston Villa at Brisbane Road on 23 April.
The forward then took her Spurs total up to nine goals in 11 games in all competitions since joining the Club in January when she struck twice at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday in our 2-2 draw with Brighton - first heading in from close-range before smashing home an equaliser into the roof of the net to salvage a point against the Seagulls in N17.
This is Bethany’s second Player of the Month nomination so far this season after she was also nominated in February.
For the accolade, the Lioness will be up against Hannah Blundell (Manchester United), Rachel Daly (Aston Villa), Chloe Kelly (Manchester City), Courtney Nevin (Leicester City) and Elisabeth Terland (Brighton & Hove Albion).
As usual, you can show you support for Beth by voting for her. The vote closes at 10am on Tuesday 9 May.
