Cristian Stellini has confirmed that Ivan Perisic trained on Friday as he continues preparing the squad for our Premier League clash at Everton on Monday night (8pm).
There were fears over Ivan’s fitness when he went down holding his left calf late in Croatia’s 2-0 win against Turkey in Bursa on Tuesday. He played for another few minutes before being substituted in injury time.

Acting Head Coach Cristian told us on Thursday that Ivan ‘was well’ and he would recover in time for Goodison. Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Friday, Cristian said: “Ivan Perisic is fit and well and trained today. It was only a kick with the national team, so he trained this morning with us.”
Cristian reiterated that Hugo Lloris had been back in training since last week and that both Ben Davies (hamstring) and Ryan Sessegnon (also hamstring) ‘are pushing to recover’. He added: “They are not ready, but they are pushing to recover as soon as possible.”
