Team news | Perisic update from Cristian Stellini

Cristian Stellini is confident Ivan Perisic will be available to face Everton at Goodison Park on Monday evening (8pm) after a late injury scare in action for Croatia in Turkey on Tuesday evening.

Ivan appeared in some discomfort holding his left leg towards the end of Croatia’s 2-0 victory in Bursa - his 125th cap. He was substituted a few minutes later in injury time.

However, Acting Head Coach Cristian had a positive update on Ivan following his return to Hotspur Way. Speaking to SPURSPLAY on Thursday, Cristian told us: "Perisic is well. He came back this morning. It was only a kick. We can recover Perisic, but the others, we need time."

Indeed, we will travel to Merseyside without Rodrigo Bentancur (knee), Yves Bissouma (ankle), Ben Davies (hamstring), Richarlison (muscle injury), Emerson Royal (knee) and Ryan Sessegnon (hamstring).
