Team news ahead of Forest - Antonio to check on fitness of Perisic and Royal

Antonio Conte will make late calls on the fitness of Emerson Royal and Ivan Perisic ahead of our Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday (3pm).

Speaking to SPURSPLAY after training on Friday, Antonio explained: “After the game against Milan, we have Emerson - he didn’t train today. We’ll check him tomorrow. He had a kick and tomorrow, we’ll see if he’s available and can be on the bench. Another is Perisic. Today, he did have a training session, but we need the players to be 100 per cent. For this reason, tomorrow, I will ask him if he’s also okay to be on the bench.”

Speaking further about Ivan his pre-match press conference, Antonio added: “It’s another situation to monitor. He had a training session today but tomorrow, for sure, I want to speak with him to understand if he’s available at least for the bench.”

Hugo Lloris (knee), Yves Bissouma (ankle), Rodrigo Bentancur (knee) and Ryan Sessegnon (hamstring) remain out.
