Spurs v Forest – how to watch, team news, kit colours, key information

Fri 10 March 2023, 22:08|Tottenham Hotspur

Important points in the race for the top four are at stake when we welcome Nottingham Forest to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday (kick-off 3pm UK).

Forest, who eliminated us from the Carabao Cup earlier this season, arrive 14th in the Premier League table, while we’ll be targeting maximum points in a bid to maintain our position in the final Champions League qualifying spot.

Here’s all the information you need to know ahead of the game...

How can I watch the game?

Saturday’s fixture (kick-off 3pm) has not been selected for live television broadcast in the UK, but there are still plenty of ways to keep up with all the action as it happens.

If you’re not at the stadium, you can follow proceedings via our Match Centre here on tottenhamhotspur.com and the Spurs Official app, which contains full audio commentary, minute-by-minute text updates, goal alerts, stats, pictures and more.

Plus, for live pre-match coverage from inside the stadium, tune in to SPURSPLAY to catch our N17 Live show, available from just before 2pm UK when the team news breaks.

Look out for match highlights on SPURSPLAY from two hours after the game too, with the full match replay available to watch on-demand from Sunday morning.

talkSPORT 2 will also have live radio commentary.

Worldwide broadcast listings are available here.

What is the team news?

Antonio Conte will assess the fitness of Emerson Royal and Ivan Perisic ahead of Saturday’s match.

Speaking to SPURSPLAY after training on Friday, Antonio explained: “After the game against Milan, we have Emerson – he didn’t train today. We’ll check him tomorrow. He had a kick and tomorrow, we’ll see if he’s available and can be on the bench. Another is Perisic. Today, he did have a training session, but we need the players to be 100 per cent. For this reason, tomorrow, I will ask him if he’s also okay to be on the bench.”

Hugo Lloris (knee), Yves Bissouma (ankle), Rodrigo Bentancur (knee) and Ryan Sessegnon (hamstring) remain out.

As for Forest, Moussa Niakhate and Cheikhou Kouyate are nearing returns from injury.

What colours will the teams be playing in?

We’ll be wearing our 2022/23 home kit as usual, featuring Lilywhite shirts, navy blue shorts and white socks, with our goalkeeper in yellow.

Nottingham Forest will arrive in red shirts, white shorts and red socks, with their keeper in grey.

Who is the referee?

Craig Pawson will referee Saturday’s match, assisted by Marc Perry and Scott Ledger.

The fourth official will be Tim Robinson, with Darren England and assistant Derek Eaton on VAR duties.

What will the weather conditions be like?

It’s set to be cloudy and breezy in north London on Saturday afternoon, with temperatures at around seven degrees.

How can I get the matchday programme?

Recent signing Pedro Porro stars on the front cover of Saturday’s official matchday programme and is the subject of our main feature interview.

Priced at the usual £4, buy your copy from the Spurs Shop at the Tottenham Experience, various pods situated around the stadium or from the Tap Inn Bars or Goal Line Bar within the ground itself.
