Information for fans travelling to St Mary’s Stadium

Supporters making the trip to Southampton for our Premier League fixture on Saturday should be aware of the following information.

A reminder that we kick-off at 3pm, with gates opening at 1.30pm.

Getting to St Mary’s

Train

Supporters are advised that industrial action is taking place on Saturday with South Western Railway operating a limited service as a result. Track improvement works are also taking place between Woking and Basingstoke. The line will be closed with a rail replacement service in operation.

Supporters are advised to make alternative travel arrangements or plan their journeys in advance at www.nationalrail.co.uk/

Southampton Central Railway Station is approximately one mile from the stadium and a 20-minute walk.

Supporters are advised that a dedicated ‘Train Station Shuttle’ service is available on matchdays providing transport to and from the stadium. . Train station staff will be available on every platform to direct supporters to the shuttle pick up point.

Shuttle services depart from Southampton Central from 12.30pm and will drop off at Chapel Road, close to the stadium. They run every 10-15 minutes. Return journeys depart from the same point and operate for 45 minutes after the final whistle.

Return journeys are priced at £3 for adults and £2 for children. Concessionary passes are also accepted.

Car

Supporters are advised not to drive to the stadium. Parking restrictions are in place and there is no official parking available for visiting supporters.

Supporters are advised that lane closures are expected to be in place on Bassett Avenue, a main route in and out of the city via the M3. Supporters arriving via the M3 can avoid this by taking the M27 westbound, followed by the M271 and Redbridge Road, following signs for the city centre.  

Entrance to the Stadium

Visiting supporters will be located on the North Side of the stadium in the Northam Stand, which can be accessed via turnstiles K, L, or M.

Supporters are advised to follow the route shown on the map below, approaching the stadium via Britannia Road and the entrance next to the North Car Park.

The North Car Park and local roads are closed one hour before kick-off.

Supporters are advised that all children attending the match must have an individual seat.

Accessibility

Supporters can enter the visitors’ section via an accessible door next to Turnstiles K, L and M.

Wheelchair using supporters located on the raised platform, indicated by DU on match tickets enter the stadium via the Executive Entrance between Ticket Office 1 and Ticket Office 2 next to the North Car Park. Supporters on the raised platform are not able to access concourses for refreshments and can place orders with Southampton’s ‘Happy to Help’ staff. 

The visitors’ section has two accessible toilets. Supporters without their own RADAR key will be able to obtain one from one of Southampton’s Accessibility Stewards.

St Mary’s has a Changing Place facility and Sensory Room should supporters need them, which can be requested by speaking to one of Southampton’s Accessibility Stewards.

All catering units have lowered counters, which are marked above with a wheelchair sign to indicate their location.

Southampton’s Accessibility Stewards are dedicated to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all disabled supporters at the stadium and can be easily identified by their high visibility jackets with the words 'ACCESSIBILITY STEWARD' on the back. Tottenham Hotspur Access Stewards will also be present to offer any assistance required.

Ticket Office

Ticket Office 3 is allocated for visiting supporters and is located on the North side of the stadium close to the entrance to the visitors’ section. The visiting supporters’ Ticket Office is open from three hours before kick-off until 15 minutes into the match.

Duplicate tickets must be requested by emailing ticket.office@tottenhamhotspur.com and will only be provided on production of valid photo ID.

Visiting Supporters’ Pubs

Yates Southampton is the designated pub for visiting supporters. Serving a range of food, with tables indoors and outdoors, it is a 10-minute walk from Southampton Central Station via Western Esplanade and approximately a 20-minute walk from the stadium.

Fanzone

Southampton’s Fanzone welcomes visiting supporters and opens three hours before kick-off.

Supporters will be required to negotiate a small ramp on entry and exit from the Fanzone which has one accessible toilet available. There are no lowered counters in the Fanzone.

Refreshments

Concessions in the visitors’ section will be serving food, hot and cold drinks and alcoholic beverages.

Cashless Payments

St Mary’s is a cashless stadium. All major debit and credit cards are accepted as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Flags & Banners

Flags and banners larger than 1x1m must have a valid fire safety certificate and those 3x3m and larger must be approved in advance by emailing supporterservices@saintsfc.co.uk.

The display of flags and banners must not obstruct the view of others, cover advertising hoardings or cause a safety hazard. Those with abusive, threatening words, images or political statements will not be permitted. Supporters are also reminded of the Club’s own Flags and Banners Policy which is in effect at away matches.

Bag Policy

All bags will be subject to a search prior to entry and must be small enough to fit under a stadium seat without causing any obstructions to the walkways.

Supporters bringing a larger bag for medical reasons are advised to contact supporterservices@saintsfc.co.uk.

Spurs Respects

We are proud of our superb and loyal support at home and away.

We recognise that most supporters want to watch a football match and not listen to abusive or indecent language from the stands. Discriminatory or violent behaviour, including racist, homophobic, sexist or anti-disability shouting, chanting or actions, is unacceptable.

The Club reserves the right to indefinitely ban supporters found guilty of using discriminatory language or violent behaviour.

Reporting Anti-Social Behaviour

To report an incident at St Mary’s, please notify the nearest steward or text SFCReport to 60060 with a description and location of the incident as soon as possible.

Unauthorised Use of Tickets

Supporters are reminded that the unauthorised reselling or passing on of tickets is strictly prohibited. In line with the Club's Sanctions & Banning Policy, supporters selling away match tickets above face value will receive an indefinite ban and deduction of all Ticketing Points. Supporters passing on away match tickets equal to face value or less will receive a written warning and a 50% reduction of Ticketing Points.

Supporters Unable to Attend

Supporters unable to attend the match should contact the Ticket Office as soon as possible. The Club will make best endeavours to reallocate tickets to other eligible supporters and issue refunds upon receipt of original tickets.
