Who is going on women’s international duty?

Fri 30 June 2023, 09:30|Tottenham Hotspur

With the FIFA Women’s World Cup kicking off in New Zealand and Australia on Thursday 20 July, let’s take a look at which of our players have been called up to represent their nations in the weeks to come.

Ria Percival has been called up to the New Zealand squad. Kicking off in New Zealand on Thursday 20 July, the tournament co-hosts welcome Norway to Eden Park. Their Group A campaign continues against Philippines on Tuesday 25 July and against Switzerland on Sunday 30 July.

Bethany England is back in the England squad as the Lionesses look for more success following last summer’s Euro 2022 victory. Sarina Weigman’s side will play a friendly against Portugal before taking on Haiti, Denmark and China in the World Cup group stages.

Shelina Zadorsky has been named in Canada’s Preparation Camp Roster. Nigeria, Republic of Ireland and Australia will be their group stage opponents.

For Jamaica, Rebecca Spencer and Drew Spence are both in the Preparation Camp Squad for games against El Salvador, Puerto Rico, Mexico and Morocco, before taking on France, Panama and Brazil in the World Cup.

It’s also a busy month for Morocco and Rosella Ayane. Friendlies against Italy, Switzerland and Jamaica come ahead of World Cup clashes with Germany, South Korea and Colombia.
